On Tuesday 6th October there will be a series of online events celebrating our new record “Is Love Enough?”
At 7pm we will be live on our instagram channel, being interviewed by Kurtis Powers (The Face Radio, Brooklyn). We will be talking to him in depth about the new record
At 8pm we will be holding a twitter listening event for the new album. Press play on the album at exactly 8pm and we will be discussing it live on Twitter. Neil Jones will be on the Stone Foundation account, Neil Sheasby will be tweeting at @NeilSheasby, Steve Trigg is at @DCTrigger and Dave Boraston is at @DBoraston.
At 9pm Neil Jones and Neil Sheasby will be meeting fans for video calls on the free QJAM app. In a world where we can’t chat to fans after gigs, this is the virtual equivalent! Download the app, join the Q and you’ll be in with a chance of being randomly selected to talk to the Neils during the event. Anyone can watch in on the video calls. Download the app here.
We’re really excited to announce a special online gig so that you can
experience a Stone Foundation gig in your own homes during these strange times!
It will take place on Saturday April 4th when we were scheduled to be
playing the Mojo Club in Hamburg – one of our favourite ever places to play.
The online gig will be an as-live playback of never-before-seen footage
of our entire gig at the Islington Assembly Hall in 2018.
Special guests at the show included Paul Weller,
Steve White, Kathryn Williams and Graham Parker
HOW IT WILL WORK:
On the evening, a video will play on both the Stone Foundation
Facebook and YouTube pages. All you have to do is tune in.
Smart TVs will be able to support the YouTube stream.
At 7pm (UK time), Kurtis Powers (The Face Radio)
will be DJing from Brooklyn, New York to warm up
for the gig, just like a normal support act!
At 8pm the footage of Stone Foundation will begin.
Everyone watching will be seeing the same footage at the
same time so you will be able to comment along.
The band will be replying to comments and chatting
themselves. It will work like a Facebook watch party.
We hope that you will be able to join us for a very special evening of
Stone Foundation music online. We’ve tried to ensure that everything
is as close to a normal gig as it can possibly be under these circumstances!
Tickets for the original dates are valid for these new gigs.
As it currently stands all other gigs will run as planned but this situation may change in the coming days and weeks. The most up to date information can always be found on http://stonefoundation.co.uk
Our first priority is always our audience’s safety and we are keeping a close eye on official advice. We hope that everyone is safe in these dark times – we will of course be back to bring you some hope and positivity later in the year.
The track was played on the band’s tour in winter 2019
and will feature on the forthcoming studio album.
Additionally, we’re pleased to announce our most extensive ever UK & Ireland tour for late 2020.
These 26 dates will follow the short run of already-announced gigs in spring.
Tickets are on sale now from the Gigs page.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been added to three more of Paul Weller’s open-air shows this summer. These are in addition to the seven previously-announced Forestry Commission shows. Tickets are available now.
